For the second day in a row at the College World Series, the schedule of games has been affected by weather. TD Ameritrade Park was initially scheduled to host three games Tuesday, following the postponement of Mississippi State-North Carolina on Monday, but bad weather on the horizon postponed the nightcap of Arkansas vs. Texas Tech to Wednesday morning.

CWS action will resume with the first pitch between the Razorbacks and Red Raiders scheduled for 12 p.m. ET Wednesday, with an elimination game between North Carolina and Oregon State scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

On Tuesday, Texas joined Washington as teams eliminated from the 2018 College World Series after defending national champion Florida kept its season alive with a 6-1 win over the Longhorns. Gators starter Jackson Kowar struck out 13 batters in 6 2/3 innings, while third baseman Jonathan India hit a three-run home run in the sixth that broke the game open.

Florida awaits the loser of Arkansas-Texas Tech in an elimination game on Thursday night.

In the other bracket, Mississippi State is now just one win away from advancing to the College World Series finals after defeating North Carolina 12-2, thanks to freshman Jordan Westburg's CWS-record-tying seven RBI.

North Carolina will face Oregon State in an elimination game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET in a rematch of their opening round matchup. The winner will have to beat Mississippi State twice to advance to the finals.
